Christal C. Hames, M.D.

Christal Hames, MD, is an experienced Board-Certified general surgeon at North Texas  Surgical Group. She specializes in advanced laparoscopic, robotic, and acute care surgery.    

Dr. Hames and her husband moved to Wichita Falls in 2015 to begin their surgical careers.   She started her medical education at the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston,  Texas. She then completed her General Surgery training at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN.   

At North Texas Surgical Group, Dr. Hames emphasizes her patients' emotional and physical comfort throughout their care. Her interests include general, advanced laparoscopic, and robotic surgery, with an emphasis on breast, gallbladder, colon, and hernia surgery.

Dr. Hames and her husband, Dr. Michael Hames, an orthopedic surgeon in Wichita Falls, Texas, have two children and four dogs, which keep her busy when she is not caring for her patients.
