Brett May, M.D.
Brett H. May, MD, is an experienced Board-Certified general surgeon at North Texas Surgical Group. He specializes in robotic, advanced laparoscopic, general, and breast surgery.
Dr. May is a true Texas native. He was born in Irving, Texas, but moved to Wichita Falls in junior high. He started his medical education at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He then completed his General Surgery training at Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, Texas.
His approach is individualized, providing care with compassion and competence to ensure outstanding clinical outcomes. His interests include general, advanced laparoscopic, and robotic surgery, with an emphasis on breast and gallbladder surgery and complex hernia repairs. He also performs surgery for a variety of cancers and all skin lesions and performs port placement for chemotherapy.
